Kaden says "I'm gonna shark you!"
What does that mean? He means he's going to attack you with something "sharp" but he thinks "sharp" is "shark". If Kaden wants to play fight with you, prepare to be "sharked".

What it's like being a mother of 2
I woke up today to Hannah screaming for a bottle. I made her a bottle and sleepily walked back up stairs to give it to her. I prop the bottle on a pillow in her crib. Ahhh I can sleep some more! Then Kaden wakes up as I turn around to walk into my room again. He runs passed me and takes his blanky into my room.
Kaden "Mama I'm hungry"
Me "ok Kaden I will get you something to eat as soon as sister is done eating, just let me sleep another 5 minutes"
Kaden *snuggles blanky on the bed next to me making snuggling sounds*
*impossible to sleep*
Hannah finishes her bottle and starts cooing. I get up to feed Kaden and pick Hannah up out of her crib. *She squeels with excitement*
I get downstairs and Kaden begs me to watch Toy Story 3 for the 100th time. I contemplate saying no just to have some quiet around the house this morning but I would rather not hear the sound of disappointment aka whining. Choose your battles right?
I put on toystory and figure out what Kaden can eat for breakfast. An orange cut into triangles still attached to the outer peel, easy and healthy. I'm still tired from the 12 hour cleaning house and going to work day but I feel guilty for not putting more effort into his breakfast. Keep in mind I am still holding Hannah.
Hannah pooped. I unwrap the diaper and look for her wipes while she lays on the couch. I finally find them under a toy on the ground and have her cleaned up when I realize she pooped on her jammies too. I leave her yet again to grab some clean clothes for her. By the time I get back Kaden wants me to log into Josh's computer game so he can play. I have to put him on hold while I finish changing Hannah.
I haven't eaten yet. I'm thirsty and I have to pee. Kids first. I am just hoping for a break! I get Kaden on the game and a string cheese he requests. I set Hannah down with a rattle in her bouncy chair in front of Toy Story and run to pee. I throw the dirty clothes from Hannah this morning in the washer and try to gather up any other dirty clothes I see.
The trash in the Kitchen is full and I still have to throw away the dirty diaper. The kids are occupied so I let Kaden know I am taking the trash out and I pick up Hannah to take her with me. I am holding the baby, an over sized trash bag, and a random box that needs to be thrown away. I walk out to the garbage. I get about half way there and one of the maintenance at my apartment complex takes my trash and says you have baby I got it. RELIEF!
I run back inside quickly to be sure Kaden isn't into any trouble. Of course he grabbed some Jello out of the fridge and it's in the carpet next to the tv where he was watching it too closely. I leave the Jello alone. Oh well it's stained and I am too tired to clean it up right now. I grab a drink of milk from the fridge while Kaden is occupied. The movie ends and I turn it off. Kaden is upset that it's over and wants to watch it again.
I tell Kaden to help me bring two small clear totes upstairs so we can sort his toys. He likes that idea. One is full of cars and the other has Imaginext toys in it. I go through his toys trying to make room for Christmas toys. Hannah is on my lap so I set her on Kaden's bed with a teething ring. She is occupied for now. I spend time asking which toys Kaden likes and which he doesn't and throw them into a trash bag. The cars all go in his car tote and his imaginext toys go in the other clear tote. He keeps discovering new toys and starts to play with each of them. He forgets he has such fun toys sitting in his room. He is happy to tell me which toys are broken or that he doesn't like.
I get a giant bag full of toys and put them by the door. Hannah keeps falling over so I bring her bouncy chair upstairs. I find her nuby toy and she likes that. I start opening toy totes in the closet and going through them all. Kaden is excited to know he has more toys than he thought. Hannah is getting fussy. Oh great, she pooped again. I put her on Kaden's bed and he doesn't like that. I go to grab her diaper and wipes quickly and I come upstairs to a wet mess of spitup on Kaden's bed. I get her changed and she is still unhappy. I make her a bottle and she eats. She's somewhat happy but she wants to be held.
I have to get Kaden's bedsheets changed and washed so I have to stay occupied while holding Hannah until she lets me put her down again. I keep going through toys while Hannah is in my arms. I put her down and she is unhappy again. I throw all the dirty sheets in the wash and start the washer. I put all the unwanted toys in the hallway. Kaden is playing with toys still. Hannah is tired so I have to get out of the room and finish it later so she can sleep. I put new sheets on her bed and put her in blankies. Kaden and I come down stairs to eat lunch and I am still exhausted. He falls asleep and now I have time to myself! So now the question is do I go back to bed or do I take some time for myself to shower, eat, and do what I want to do?
When they wake up I will just be trying to find a way to get something done. Rinse repeat that until the kid's bedtime or on the days I work I can finally get some time to be around adults. No more baby holding, feeding, changing, playing.. just adult interaction and freedom to use the bathroom when I want.

Dear Kaden,
It has been a few months. You are so big now! You walk and talk and run around jumping off of things. You are growing too fast. I love you.. You are so pure and full of life. You put a smile on my face, you teach me to use my imagination, and you get into trouble so I can be the one to save you. You are my baby.
Love,
Mama

Dear Kaden,

We figured out how to use the camera today and had so much fun taking pictures and playing outside. You got mad that I made you come inside. You weren't done playing yet. We went to red robin today and you sat in a booster seat for the first time. You found a crayon behind the booth and ate tons of melon and fries. On the way out you grabbed a huge handful of everything and brought it with you in the car. It was a good day. Oh and we ate donuts this morning. You shoved a whole donut hole in your mouth and was ready for more. Don't forget we watched spongebob and you laughed(see picture).
Love, Mama

Dear Kaden,
I haven't had time to write. I apologize. We took tons of pictures today and had a big adventure around the house. First I woke you up with the camera.

..Hiding your smiles after you realized mama was taking pictures the whole time!

Mama threw a hippo at you.

We also took some time to admire the dining room fan.

I love u booboo
